LUKE PLUCKROSE, LEAD CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Luke leads Saks’ creative direction across education and session styling. A key figure backstage at London and Paris Fashion Weeks, heading up hair teams and delivering standout looks in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. Has also devised shows for two L’Oréal Colour Trophy Grand Final shows, Geometric Reflections and Limitless. His work spans A-list and editorial styling, with clients including Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Coolidge, Priyanka Chopra and Sabrina Carpenter, bringing red carpet influence to every brief.

Known for his collaborative approach, Luke balances creative leadership at the highest level with a commitment to championing other artists across the industry and the stylists in our salons.

CLARE MURPHY, CREATIVE DIRECTOR

With 15 years’ experience across TV, film and live entertainment, Clare has built her career around on-set and session styling, with work spanning iconic productions including Game of Thrones, The Witcher, Bridgerton, Wicked, and Star Wars.

Clare’s work moves between fashion, period and avant-garde projects, combining technical precision with a strong creative instinct. A key specialist area is wig making and hairpiece work – sourcing and styling pieces that bring characters to life. She also led the Portfolio team at Graduate Fashion Week, creating hair for all of the shows over four days. Clare brings this depth of experience into Saks, sharing real-world insight to inspire, challenge and elevate our stylists.

ALICE HALEY, PRINCIPAL EDUCATOR

Alice plays a key role in Saks hair education, helping stylists across the network build technical understanding in colour and salon work. MAISIE ROSS, EXTENSIONS EDUCATOR

Maisie leads hair extensions education at Saks, supporting stylists with consultation, placement and creating seamless results. Principal Stylist at Saks Guisborough, she brings backstage experience and a strong eye for detail into everything she does. Meet Maisie here.

NICOLA HUGHES, PRINCIPAL EDUCATOR

Nikki combines salon leadership with a passion for developing people and maintaining high standards across every part of salon life. Claire brings extensive experience in colour education, with specialist knowledge in grey blending and personalised colour techniques. Jess brings creativity and real salon relevance into her education sessions, helping stylists build skills and techniques they can confidently use with customers every day. SHANNON CURRAH POSEN, EDUCATOR

Shannon combines salon leadership with a collaborative approach to education, supporting stylists in developing colour techniques and fresh creative ideas. Manager at Saks Hexham, she thrives on sharing knowledge and brings energy to everything she does. Get to know Shannon here.

Johnathan brings a hands-on approach to hair education, driven by continuous learning, technical development and knowledge sharing.
