From super-creative Saks stylist to our newest salon owner… meet Zoe Chamberlain who opens the door of Saks Hair Newark on 27th July 2020. Saks through-and-through, Zoe’s dreamed of opening her own salon since starting with us back in 2013. In Newark? You got lucky! You can now find Zoe and our fab Saks Hair Newark team at 20-22 Castlegate in town.
HELLUVA SAKS JOURNEY
Saks Lincoln salon owner Rachel Banks ensured Zoe took up the ongoing training opportunities that the brand has to offer with Saks Art Team and L’Oréal Professionel and Zoe’s career took a creative turn when she joined the annual Saks A-Team training programme in 2015, exploring techniques suited to session styling. Mentored by creative director Luke Pluckrose and Saks Art Team; she’s been assisting at shoots and shows ever since. A brilliant colourist, Zoe was also named L’Oréal Colour Trophy grand finalist in 2015 and three-times regional finalist 2017-19.

Luke says “Love this Saks story! Zoe’s worked with Saks Art Team loads over recent years on all the creative gigs – always good to have her on-side, she’s very creative and gets things done. Always knew her number one passion was for opening her own Saks salon and it’s brilliant that she’s done just that.”
