ZOE
SALON OWNER & DIRECTOR
OK, Zoe epitomises the Saks brand. Stylist to salon owner with a load of happy customers and creative gigs on the way. In 2020 Newark got lucky when Zoe opened her very own salon. Hugely creative and works with Saks Art Team styling at shoots and shows. Zoe says: “My fave hairdresser has to be our creative director, Luke Pluckrose – literally my mentor. And my fave hair product is Kérastase Elixir Ultime Oil – my saviour!” The closest things to Zoe’s heart will always be her hubby, Matt and gorgeous little girl, Lainey (not forgetting her dogs Ronnie, Reggie and Danny of course), plus best friend Ols. Fav box-set? Harry Potter!
EMMA
Salon Manager
Emma is our super-talented Salon Manager who loves to transform her customers and make them feel special. In her spare time, a long walk and cuddles with her mini dashaund – Slinky is right up her street. Fave thing to do whilst grabbing some time on her own – a long soak and a good book. And having a night in with family watching a good movie is always a winner. Emma’s guilty pleasure? Buying makeup! And her top watch film is Dirty Dancing.
REBECCA
PRINCIPAL STYLIST
Rebecca is our Principal Stylist and an expert in everything hair. She enjoys meeting new people and chatting about everything they get up to. People aside, dogs are her favourite although, although she’s allergic to everything – yikes. Favourite thing to do outside of work? Enjoying a relaxing bath and binging on odd box set or two with her mum and pizza. Rebecca’s fave film is Mrs Doubtfire.
LUCY
STYLIST
Meet Lucy, a talented stylist who gives a lot to every customer she meets and packs a punch with short hair cuts. She loves to make all her customers feel relaxed and comfortable. Lucy’s a massive pet person and has a springer spaniel and Romanian rescue. Her favourite things are cooking or doing her hair (she loves hairdressing that much!). Lucy’s favourite band? Mcfly! Fave film? The Holiday.
MAIZIE
APPRENTICE
Maizie loves working in the salon, meeting new people, seeing colour transformations and making customers feel confident with their new hair. She’s got two golden doodles – Harry and a puppy called Bradley. Guilty pleasure? Clothes shopping – naturally. Be sure to look out for our lovely Maizie the next time you’re in the salon.
CHLOE
APPRENTICE
Chloe really enjoys making people feel their best and seeing them falling in love with their hair. She has an impressive list of pets including two dogs, a cat, and a horse! In her spare time she rides her horse and walks the dog, Milo. Cloe enjoys a night at home watching a film, as well as a night out every once in a while. Guilty pleasure? Watching reality tv - Love Island for one! Favourite box set? The Vampire Diaries.
JEM
SALON ASSISTANT
Meet our youngest member of the team, Jem. A massive people person, he’s great in our salon and loves trying out new styles, being creative, and working in with our team. Favourite thing? Definitely dogs! And experimenting with makeup and practicing new hairstyles. In his spare time, Jem enjoys binge watching tv and spending time with his family. Favourite film? Clueless! Fave TV show? Keeping up with Kardashians.
