JOHN GODDARD
SALON OWNER & DIRECTOR
Saks born and bred, John joined us when he was 16 and worked his way up to salon owner in 2005, when he opened the doors of Saks Skipton. With 30 years' experience and advanced colour expertise, his customers trust him completely. John loves the creative aspect of hairdressing and knowing he can change someone’s life by creating a great style! Outside the salon, he enjoys keeping fit by cycling and running. John also enjoys catching up with family and friends around a bottle of wine and spending time with his wife.
JODIE
PRINCIPAL STYLIST & HAIR EXTENSIONS SPECIALIST
Jodie has been with the salon for 17 years and is known for creating styles her customers can recreate at home while still feeling their best. Building strong relationships is key to her approach, helping her truly understand each of her customer's look. With extensive colour training, including L’Oréal Colour Expert, she combines colour and cutting seamlessly, with a particular love for short hair. Outside of the salon, Jodie is a big lover of the outdoors. She spends her days off entertaining her two children and values nothing more than quality family time, enjoying a traditional Sunday roast with a well-earned pint or two.
CLAIRE
PRINCIPAL STYLIST AND COLOUR SPECIALIST
Claire brings over 25 years of hairdressing experience and has been a valued member of the salon team for the past 10 years. As a L’Oréal Colour Specialist, she has a real passion for colour - particularly corrective work, where she thrives on transforming and revitalising her clients’ hair. She loves getting creative with a variety of techniques and tones, always focusing on achieving beautiful, personalised results. For Claire, colour is at the heart of everything she does, and she takes great pride in delivering stunning transformations. Outside the salon, Claire enjoys an active lifestyle, spending her time running, cycling, and making the most of the outdoors. She’s also a devoted mum to her three children and is excited to soon become a grandma.
MEGAN
PRINCIPAL STYLIST
Megan prides herself on taking the time to truly listen to her clients’ needs, ensuring every appointment feels personal and tailored. She is highly attentive, with a great eye for detail, allowing her to create beautifully refined results. She has a passion for classic styling alongside modern colouring techniques, particularly balayage, and loves helping her clients achieve effortless, wearable looks. Megan also enjoys working on bridal hair, creating styles that feel special and perfectly suited to the occasion. Outside the salon, Megan loves spending quality time with family and friends. She enjoys good food, shopping, and music, often heading to concerts whenever she gets the chance.
GABBY
PRINCIPAL STYLIST
Gabby has been part of the salon team for 10 years and is passionate about creating beautiful, personalised looks for her clients. She particularly enjoys creative colouring and excels in working with long hair, specialising in balayage to create soft, natural-looking results. By combining both colour and cutting, she loves making a real difference and delivering styles that truly suit each client. Outside the salon, Gabby enjoys eating out, socialising with friends, and walking her two dogs. She loves to travel and is always planning her next getaway. When she’s not exploring somewhere new, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and making the most of life outside the salon.
MOLLIE
HAIR EXTENSIONS SPECIALIST
Mollie has been with the salon for 10 years and is our hair extensions specialist, trained in both Beauty Works and Racoon hair extensions. She is passionate about creating confidence-boosting transformations for her clients and loves enhancing natural hair to achieve that extra boost with every look she creates. Outside of the salon, Mollie enjoys walking her dogs and travelling far and wide. It’s been an exciting year for her, having recently welcomed a baby boy and moved into her new home with her fiancée.
CHLOE
STYLIST
Chloe has been with the salon for several years and has developed into a confident, well-established stylist. She particularly enjoys working with highlights and balayage, creating natural, wearable colour tailored to each client. Chloe also has a passion for short cuts, helping to give her clients that extra boost of confidence with every visit. In her free time, she loves spending time with family and friends outdoors. At home, she enjoys giving her dog Peanut plenty of cuddles, and she has recently bought her first house with her boyfriend.
MACY
GRADUATE STYLIST
Macy is our newest stylist, having been with the salon for just over a year. She particularly enjoys cutting short hair and is developing her confidence and skills within the team, already delivering great results for her clients. Outside of the salon, Macy loves horse riding, walking her dog, and spending time with her boyfriend. Known as our fashion queen, she also has a great eye for style and has recently bought her first home with her boyfriend.
