ANNA CLINTON
SALON OWNER
Anna is Saks through and through, starting her career at Saks Northallerton at only 17. She loves cutting short hair and personalising each hairstyle to the customer, by playing around with textures. Anna’s favourite hair icon is Mary Quant and her iconic bob. Outside of the salon, you’ll find Anna at the gym, walking her dog, or spending quality time with her family. A fun fact about Anna is that she has ran The Great North run 7 times and would love to run a marathon before turning 50! Anna loves her Saks family - meeting lifelong friends, having the support of the community, and raising nearly £25k for The Eve Appeal.
CHARLOTTE SOUTHALL
HAIR SALON MANAGER
Charlotte started her career with Anna at our Scotch Corner salon at 18 years old after completing her A levels at Richmond School, and has worked for Saks for many years. Charlotte has progressed her way through the ranks to salon manager before taking some time out to have her two children Oliver and Amelia. Charlotte loves salon life and currently juggles work and family life. You can see Charlotte in the salon on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Friday mornings, where she looks forward to a good gossip whilst getting creative with her customers. Before having a family Charlotte gained the L'Oreal Colour Degree and is a specialist in all things colour she has also been working on the Saks management programme. Charlotte has a keen interest in fashion and loves to know everything about up and coming trends after studying fashion as part of her textiles a level. Three words to sum up Charlotte: friendly, ambitious, expert.
LAURA PORTER
HAIR SALON DIRECTOR
Laura is our Hair Salon Director, with a passion for making people feel confident. Laura’s most requested style is the iconic Farrah Fawcett blowdry. Her favourite Saks moment was winning Hair & Beauty Salon of the year with her team and jetting off on a celebratory trip to Marbella. When she’s not in the salon, Laura enjoys spending time with her two young kids, running, swimming, and catching up with friends! Her guilty pleasure is settling down to watch a crime drama with ready salted crisps and chocolate.
KATIE THORNTON
SENIOR STYLIST
Katie qualified as a stylist in 2016 and has recently returned to the salon after some time off raising her gorgeous children. Katie is also NVQ qualified in Customer Service and Team Leadership and has completed the L'Oreal specialist course. Katie loves to be organised and applies this to every aspect of her work and home life. When Katie isn't glamming up her customers, she likes to roll her sleeves up and gets stuck into life on the farm where she lives with her family. Her favourite time of year is lambing season where she likes nothing more than to become surrogate mother to lots of baby lambs.
TONI HUTCHINSON
PRINCIPAL STYLIST
Toni is our principal stylist and a perfectionist in everything that she does. She loves cutting and styling hair to make her customers feel like the best version of themselves. Toni’s favourite Saks memory is winning Hair & Beauty Salon of The Year *and* Fundraising Salon of The Year in the same night! Favourite hair icon? Vidal Sassoon. Outside of the salon, Toni loves walking and spending time with her friends and family. Guilty pleasure? Jammy dodgers. Toni loves salon life and getting to work with her Saks family every day!
EMMA KEARNEY
PRINCIPAL STYLIST
Emma is our senior stylist, with a love for all things blonde and chatting to her customers! She specialises in highlighting and making her customers feel amazing. Emma doesn’t have a specific hair icon, but she loves the Sabrina Carpenter fringe! Outside of the salon, you’ll find Emma out on a run or catching up with her friends. Her guilty pleasure is watching reality TV (when she’s not at a soft play with her twins). Emma loves working with such an amazing team, describing them as family!
IZZY THOMPSON
STYLIST
Izzy is our fabulous stylist. She excels in big bouncy blowdrys and fashion colours! Izzy loves being creative and sociable. A job where she can talk all day? Perfect! Her ultimate hair icons are Amy Winehouse and Priscilla Presley (or anyone with a 60’s vibe). Izzy’s favourite Saks memory is working behind the scenes at Birmingham Graduate Fashion Week and going to Ibiza with the team. Guilty pleasure? Eating everyone’s leftovers at work. No waste around here! Izzy loves Saks because of the opportunities and the family she gets to work alongside.

HAIR APPRENTICE
Erin is one of our fabulous hair apprentices. She loves meeting new people and making them feel good during their time in the salon. Erin’s favourite Saks moment was meeting her team for the first time and practising her blow-dry technique on Emma! Her favourite hair icon is Chris Appleton. Outside of work you will find Erin getting her nails done, doing some shopping, or dining in Nando’s.
EVA CLINTON
HAIR APPRENTICE
Eva is our fabulous hair apprentice. Eva is loving learning new techniques from her team. Favourite beauty icon? Of course, Rihanna. In her spare time, Eva loves spending time with her friends, family and her dog. Her guilty pleasure is watching Mamma Mia. A fun fact is that Eva has danced for 13 years! Eva is Saks through and through, having grown up with her mum, Anna, owning the salon.
AMALIE LOFTUS
HAIR APPRENTICE
Meet our lovely apprentice, Amalie! Amalie is your go-to expert for creating beautiful, bouncy curls that’ll leave you feeling fabulous. She loves being part of the Saks family and enjoys connecting with amazing clients and her team. When she’s not perfecting curls, you can find her sipping on her favourite Dr. Pepper and hitting the gym for a good workout.
SUE DICKINSON
BEAUTY MANAGER
Sue is our fabulous beauty manager. She specialises in CACI, loving the anti-aging properties of this ‘no-needle face lift’. Sue is also an expert at glyco peels and microneedling. She’s passionate about making her customers feel better, always providing a listening ear. Favourite beauty icon? Coco Chanel. Outside of the salon you will find Sue spending time with her family or having a good pamper. Sue’s favourite Saks moments are the annual Saks awards and the team building events with her Saks family. Fun fact? Sue worked on a cruise ship, lived in Italy, and speaks Italian - molto bene!

BEAUTY THERAPIST
Emma is our salon’s beauty therapist, having been in the industry for over 24 years. She specialises in massage and loves making her customers feel amazing after a treatment, especially when challenged with knotty shoulders! Emma’s favourite Saks memory is celebrating winning Salon of The Year at the annual Saks Awards. Outside of work, you can find Emma walking her dog, spending time with her gorgeous family, and relaxing in the garden.
HELEN
NAIL TECHNICIAN
Our lovely Helen is no stranger to Saks, having previously worked for the group in reception roles (psst… she won Saks receptionist of the year too). Wanting to stay part of our family, Helen's now turned her hand to all things nails, and what a fabulous job she does, with spa pedicures being her thing! Best bits… have to be getting to know new customers and giving people pretty feet. In her spare time, she loves walking in the dales. Fun facts about Helen? Her favourite beauty icon is Audrey Hepburn, a guilty pleasure is chocolate, and she does a pretty good impression of Donald Duck if anyone wants to hear it! Helen is available for appointments on Wednesdays and Fridays.
