Joining Saks in 2026 felt like the natural next step for our Perth salon owner. A step up for the salon with Saks’ support, real structure, and a community that raises the bar for the whole team and every client who walks through our door. Elaine's speciality is cutting and extensions. And a dream client is Kat Slater from EastEnders. Because of the big personality and the big hair. Yes to this! The social side of salon life is at the heart of everything Elaine does. Creating a great atmosphere, good energy, and the kind of friendships that come with being part of Saks. And from day one, that's exactly what it's felt like.
YVONNE
STYLIST
Yvonne's creativity with colour is her superpower, with a special love for all the blonde hues. Also into butterfly cuts and big, curly glam blow-dries. Claudia Winkleman is top of Yvonne's client list… The Fringe, obviously. The social side of salon life is what Yvonne loves, and the education and opportunities that come with Saks made joining the Perth team a no-brainer. A fab binge-watch is Killing Eve with Friends as the comfort go-to. Loves family days out with her partner and their three-year-old and Nashville is on the bucket list. Oh, and here's one that stops people in their tracks: Yvonne was born ten weeks premature, weighing just 1lb 15oz. Quite the start.

The bob is Emma's signature style - iconic for a reason. Also loves bangs on a long, layered cut, bouncy blow-dries and golden blondes. Dream client? Jason Momoa. And if we're going back through the eras, it’s Doris Day. Salon life is all about the chat, the friendships, and yes, the smell. APPRENTICE
Our apprentice is a hair enthusiast already. Lorin loves playful ways to curl hair and peekaboo colour - the clever technique that keeps vivid hues hidden until a cheeky reveal. In the right place at Saks Perth, soaking up the skills and thriving on the vibe that makes Saks salons special. She credits her dyslexia for leading her to a creative role, with a natural ability to think visually and help customers bring their hair ideas to life. Best mood booster? At home Lorin's a night owl, happy at home with good music on. The right music for the right mood. Think ABBA and Alex Warren. Would love to style Meryl's hair. Jetting off means somewhere hot - eyes on Greece or the Caribbean.
