We’re big fundraisers and have raised over £14,000 over the past three years for The Eve Appeal – incredibly proud of how they have also embraced fundraising… as well as providing gorgeous hair. We have regular team nights out, our motto is “Work hard, play harder!”

Andrea has proudly owned Saks Hexham for 20 years. She loves being a hairdresser as much now as she did at 18 and gets involved with everything Saks has to offer. Highlight of 2023 – winning SAKS HAIR SALON OF THE YEAR! Closely followed by our team holiday to Ibiza - a fabulous prize for winning a L’Oréal competition. Shannon’s been with us for five years. And what a year 2023 has been - new salon, happy team and lots of awards. “I was blown away with two wins at this year’s national Saks Awards - Creative Image, Special Recognition and of course SAKS HAIR SALON OF THE YEAR!” Pus two nominations with Salon Business and British Hairdressers Business Awards. SALON DIRECTOR AND ASSISTANT MANAGER
Jess has been hairdressing for six years with Saks and love every part of it! Her favourites passion? Creative colours and short, funky haircuts. This year Jess was nominated for the Saks Styling Image and Colour Image awards. Jess has been part of the Saks A Team, which includes editorial sessions and wig styling. SALON DIRECTOR & L’OREAL COLOUR SPECIALIST
Emma is our salon’s L’Oréal Colour Specialist with 24 years’ hairdressing experience. She just loves anything to do with colour, specialising in creative and vivid colour, as well as colour corrections. She’s also known for her precision cutting. Emma is a Kérastase Ambassador so if you need product advice, she’s your go-to girl. Follow @emma_b_saks_hexham.

Jessica has been part of the team for six years. Representing us in the L’Oréal Loft collective, which aims to improve every aspect of a salon, Jess has been on every Saks and L’Oréal training course going. “I love to share new ideas and skills with the team, and enjoy all-things retro, up-dos and party hair.” Jess has just won BEST HAT at Hexham Races Ladies Day, with a hat she made herself - creative genius we say! Hannah has been working her magic since the start of 2022 and she already won Advanced Apprentice of the Year 2022. “I love all things hair, particularly blondes and party hair. Having joined Saks in 2020, our Jodie is a fantastic and accomplished stylist who we all love. As well as making people feel good about themselves, Jodie enjoys allowing her creative juices to flow by creating stunning balayage. With no end to her hairdressing talents, she’s also assisted as Graduate Fashion Week in London and won SAKS ADVANCED APPRENTICE OF THE YEAR 2023. In Jodie’s spare time, she loves to spend time in the sun enjoying holidays with her nearest and dearest. Follow @jodiexhair.
