MEET OUR SAKS EXETER FACES
Our Exeter salon team is extra special. We’re multi award-winning and offer the very best in hairdressing services. We love creating head-turning cuts, colours and styles and have worked our magic behind the scenes at the BRIT Awards, London Fashion Week, The Clothes Show Live and at events for the likes of Cosmopolitan Magazine, and that’s to name but a few.
Our hairdressers are also L’Oréal Colour Degree specialists (the highest accolade for a colourist to achieve) and we were finalists in the L’Oréal Colour Trophy, the most prestigious professional competition in the hair industry!
As we’re part of the Saks brand, Ellie and our team get the best professional training with our London Art Team, L’Oreal and GHD meaning that we are always kept on our toes creatively.

I’m so grateful that I found a career that I love so passionately. I especially love the “people” aspect - my team and my clients. I feel incredibly privileged to know so many truly wonderful people who absolutely make my day! I wouldn’t say I have a favourite trend; my work tends to be classic and timeless. Clients say my work is very wearable and easy to manage and I pride myself on a holistic approach to a customer’s hair. I take into consideration lifestyle, personality and tailoring each look for each individual.

SALON OWNER
I came into the hairdressing industry because Ellie is a hairdresser but my dad was a hairdresser too and we always had a salon in our house when I was growing up, so maybe it was always meant to be.I love the constant and varied creativity which the industry offers. If you ask any of our team they would probably say I love spreadsheets and my laptop!
LAURA
SALON MANAGER, SALON DIRECTOR & COLOUR SPECIALIST
Laura joined the team in 2012. Her career highlights include achieving a Colour Specialist Degree and having the best customers. She loves creating bespoke ombres, foilayage, balayage and babylights. Laura loves her road bike and pushing herself to achieve her personal best… and a perfect cup of tea… “it really does make life so much better”. Laura’s saying: “Life is far too short, live it the way that makes you happy”.
PAULA
ARTISTIC DIRECTOR & COLOUR SPECIALIST
Paula joined the team in 2021 with 18 years of hairdressing experience. This includes ten years at Saks in Leamington Spa (four years as manager) and the last eight years working for Sean Hanna in Canary Wharf. Along the way Paula has completed her L’Oreal Colour Specialist Degree. Her career highlight to date was winning Stylist of the Year twice in a row. What Paula loves most about hairdressing is building relationships with her clients. Her favourite colour technique is balayage, “I don’t think anything will ever beat it”, and style wise she loves a bob, “especially a graduated one!” Outside of work Paula loves going on family walks, going to the beach and the moors, exploring different places with the kids and just generally spending time with family Paula’s saying “Never doubt yourself, never change who you are, don’t care what people think and just go for it” (love a bit of Britney).
FAYE
PRINCIPAL STYLIST & SENIOR COLOUR TECHNICIAN
Faye joined Saks Exeter’s team at the start of 2023 and has 20 years’ hairdressing experience under her belt. The highlights of her career are working and managing salons in Dubai and Malaysia, having enjoyed meeting clients from all around the world - many who have become life-long friends. Faye loves to colour, especially highlights which she finds therapeutic. Favourite quote? ‘Regret what you do, not what you don’t do’.
HANNAH
PRINCIPAL STYLIST & SENIOR COLOUR TECHNICIAN
Hannah joined the team in 2018 following graduating with a BA (Hons) degree in Fashion Styling (Hair & Make-up Design). Her career highlights include being a finalist in the Saks Creative Hair Competition, and flying to the L’Oreal Academy, Manchester to take part. She loves colouring and anything involving foils. She especially enjoys balayage, root drags and technical toners. Hannah’s passion is being happy and living a happy life. Finding the positive and happiness in the little things in life. Fav saying: “If you have good thoughts, they will shine out of your face like sunbeams, and you will always look lovely” – Roald Dahl.
CHLOE
SENIOR STYLIST & SENIOR COLOUR TECHNICIAN
Chloe is our Senior Stylist & Senior Colour Technician who's dedication and expertise have set her apart. She has a lot of love for coppers, reds and balayage. Outside the salon Chloe loves long walks, spending quality time with her family and picnics. She believes in conquering any challenge that comes her way. Chloe’s favourite quote is by Audrey Hepburn, "Nothing is impossible. The word itself says I'm possible!"
HARRIET
SENIOR STYLIST & SENIOR COLOUR TECHNICIAN
Meet Harriet - our Stylist & Colour Technician who loves nothing more than making all of her clients feel extra special. One for anything blonde, be it highlights, balayage or root bleaches, Harriet’s talents have no end if you’re looking to achieve those creamy tones. Career highlight? Travelling to London to complete her Simply Saks hairdressing training. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well as riding her horses. Harriet’s favourite quote? “Everything happens for a reason”.
FREYA
SENIOR STYLIST & SENIOR COLOUR TECHNICIAN
Freya is our Stylist & Colour Technician who has a special love for balayages, bouncy blowdries, and hair ups. Her career highlight is the incredible week she spent in Darlington, completing her Simply Saks training. Outside of work, you'll find Freya in the gym, or spending quality time with family and friends. Favourite quote? "The only way to do great work is to love what you do."
CODI
stylist & Colour Technician
Codi’s career highlight is passing her End Point Assessment and completing her Simply Saks training at the Saks HQ! She loves the creative side of hairdressing and personalising each client’s colour and cut. Codi loves creating a blonde look with highlights. Outside of work Codi is a self-described “space nerd”, she loves taking pictures of the stars, moon and planet and her favourite quote is “You are made of stardust”.
MOLLY
FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER
Molly joined the team in 2017. Her career highlights include being promoted to front of house manager. Molly says “My son gets me out of bed in the morning… whether I’m ready or not! I had him during the first lockdown and he’s a little superstar”. Molly’s favourite hair trend? “I love shaggy mullets you see at the moment, not that I’d ever be brave enough to get one”. Molly’s saying: “Wanting to be someone else is a waste of the person you are”.
LOLLY
FRONT OF HOUSE
Lolly joined the team in 2020. Her career highlight is working for Saks - “I love my job!” Lolly loves French bobs that end on the jawline. “They’re so chic and effortlessly cool”. Lolly’s obsessed with roller skating. “Getting outside on the skates by the seafront makes me happy for the rest of the day. Lolly says: “Never regret anything that makes you smile”.
