NICOLA
SALON OWNER
Nikki has led the team at Saks Chester for years. She’s won numerous awards, including HJ’s Franchisee of the Year and Special Recognition Awards. She’s also worked on London Fashion Week, Clothes Show Live and styled celebrity hair for the BAFTA's. Nikki loves to work her precision magic on short hair and is a L’Oréal Colour Expert as well as a Racoonista extentionist, delivering hair in recovery service which allows customers to have tricologist supported extensions, following major hair loss. Away from the salon Nikki enjoys riding her motorbike and holidays with her family - anywhere and everywhere that includes a new experience. Nikki loves Saks because it empowers people to be their best.
GAIL
FRONT OF HOUSE
Gail works at the salon two days a week ensuring front of house is kept on track, and that customers are well looked after. She has numerous years’ experience working within hospitality, reception and retail, so handles the day to day running of the salon with ease. Gail will always go the extra mile for our customers, team and anyone else she encounters. She has a heart of gold and if you’re ever in need of a shoulder to cry on, or some advice, she’s ready to sort it out over a nice cup of earl grey.
SARAH
SALON DIRECTOR
Sarah is our fabulous salon director, who’s a true expert in balayage and blonde colour, having graduated as a L’Oreal Colour Specialist which is the most comprehensive colour course in the industry . Her aim is to exceed your expectations, making you feel more confident. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys anything physical, so the gym, Muay Thai training and lots of hikes are right up her street. Her favourite holiday destination is Toronto in Canada. Guilty pleasure? Caffeine! Favourite music? Oasis and Sam Fender. Something we didn’t know about Sarah? She’s a Newcastle United supporter. Sarah loves Saks because the salon team get on really well, and she just loves what she does. Perfect we say.
CLAIRE
SALON DIRECTOR
Claire has been with Saks Chester for a long time now. She’s gained her L'Oreal Colour Specialist degree making her an elite colourist who’s able to correct colour and match your skin tones. Plus she has numerous years of industry experience. Claire specialises in Beautyworks and Racoon extensions (including hair in recovery). Claire enjoys transforming customers from their first visit. Having successfully completed her advanced cutting courses, Claire also teaches other members of the team too. She loves to push her creative boundaries, starting as far back as when she was a finalist for the Saks Apprenticeship Awards, in her first year of hairdressing. Then two years later when she was shortlisted for the Saks Image Award, which led to her successfully winning the accolade of regional finalist for the L'Oreal Colour Trophy. Claire understands the importance of attention to detail and ensuring every customer has a relaxing and fulfilling experience whilst in the salon. Claire embraces meeting customers and loves making them all feel special.
DANIELLE
SALON DIRECTOR
Danielle is our talented salon director, specialising in precision cutting, perming, creative colour, hair-up and curly hair. She loves nothing more than to make her customers laugh and feel good. Fave hairdressing moments? Being a member of the Saks A-Team which allowed her to fulfil her creative flare and styling for Graduate Fashion Week. In her spare time, Dan enjoys walking and riding her Railegh MK2 Chopper. Favourite holiday destination? Thailand – without a doubt. Random fact about Danielle? She’s part of a Thai Chai group which she loves. Dan’s favourite part about working for Saks is the training and ongoing support she receives to reach her full potential as a creative stylist.
ELLIE
PRINCIPAL STYLIST
Our lovely Ellie specialises in Racoon hair extensions, colouring and cutting. Her fave hair icon is Guy Tang, and she loves all aspects of hairdressing. Ellie enjoys seeing her friends and spending time with her two dogs. Her favourite get away is Bali and best on the box is Eastenders. Random fact we didn’t know? One of her poems was published in a book in high school. Ellie loves Saks because the salon is inclusive and welcoming.
ERIN
STYLIST
Erin’s a busy stylist, getting stuck into everything she does. Her favourite part of hairdressing is working with our lovely customers. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her friends and walking her dog. Holidays for Erin are anywhere hot and she’s happy! Fave on the box - Love Island. Fave book? It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover. Random fact about Erin? She’s really good at the pogo stick. Erin loves Saks because of all the opportunities given to her.
