Training with the Saks Art Team
At our salon in Addlestone, we love to top up our hair expertise as often as we can. Why? To ensure we’re THE BEST place to come to on the high street for all things hair. Whether it’s a full restyle or an elegant cut.
We always make sure we’re up to date with the very latest trends and techniques. So that’s why we’ve just had fantastic training with Saks’ creative director, Luke Pluckrose, and Colour Supremo, Sarah Clarke-Lees, from the renowned Saks Art Team.
WHAT WE GOT UP TO
All of our team got together for four fantastic sessions, and we’re a big team, so that was impressive in itself! We were all so excited, and completed the training feeling more motivated than ever.
Our first day covered the all-important consultation, so we can get to grips with exactly what our customers want and be sure we’ll get it 100% right. After all, perfection is the name of the game. And then we moved onto a much-loved area – colouring. Where everything from balayage, gorgeous grey, pastels, colour changes and more was covered.
Then the remaining three days focused purely on cutting and styling. We went through the classic cuts plus all the latest looks. From the long locks to the timeless appeal of a chic bob and lob lengths of today.
AMAZING TRAINING
Our salon owner, Andrew says “The Saks Art Team are amazing at what they do. They certainly know their stuff and delivered the training in a fun and informal way. Luke and Sarah encouraged our team to push the boundaries. And that’s exactly what we’re doing.”
Andrew continues “We spent four days looking at new perspectives in colouring and cutting hair, which will benefit our customers’ experience when you come to the salon. We can’t wait for our next advanced training session!”
