STYLISTS’ SAKS4EVE SKYDIVE
Appreciation for our Chester-le-Street hair salon apprentices, Olivia and Magan, for taking an impressive 10,000ft skydive in March, all to raise funds for our national charity of choice, The Eve Appeal.
Along with Saks salons up and down the country, we’re nearing our target of raising £250,000 to aid essential gynaecological cancers research, and we couldn’t be happier with our hair apprentices for their effort and dedication to raising money.

LET’S DELVE INTO THE DIVE
First off, we just want to say how very proud we are of our hair apprentices, Olivia and Magan for their bravery. They are TRUE Saks4Eve supporters.
So… onto the dive. When? Sunday 16th March. Where? The Airfield in Shotton Colliery.
The mood? Tense, apprehensive, anxious, happy, giddy, excited… and a whole lot more.
BUT… it was exhilarating, and our team had the best time. They loved it so much, they want to do it all over again. Although instead of jumping from 10,000 feet, they’re planning on jumping from 15,000 feet. Wow. Our team will be sure to be there for that one too.
TOTAL AMOUNT RAISED… DRUM ROLL PLEASE
We’re pleased to say we’ve raised an impressive £2,215. A massive THANK YOU goes to everyone who supported the girls, and who kindly donated. That goes for customers, family, friends and everyone who donated through our social media pages. No matter how small, every penny counts. And it certainly adds up.
We couldn’t have done it without you.

“The girls were joking for a couple days about doing the skydive, as it wasn’t something they’d ever wanted to do in the past. Then a couple of days later (unbeknown to me), they took it upon themselves to book it, as having thought about it, they thought it would be a good laugh and a fantastic memory to cherish.”
“Everyone in the salon were excited leading up to the day, especially Olivia and Magan, but a few nerves did hit them on the day. However, that didn’t stop them from taking the plunge!”
Our salon manager, Nicola, and Zoey, creative director, went along with their families to support the girls, and to share in the laughs and memories made.
