Shout Out to Our Incredible Team
What a celebration 2022 has been for our fabulous hair and beauty team. Our Saks Poulton salon has had the best year so we just had to shout about it. We’ve had not one but two hair stylists (Emma and Shelbi) qualify with distinctions. Both are incredibly focused on their customers and have a wealth of knowledge to say they’re just starting their careers in hair.
Salon owner, Rachael says “I love how most of my team are home grown stylists, with Emma newly promoted to stylist and Shelbi now a graduate stylist. And now we have the fabulous Ella who’s joined our hair team as Saks Poulton’s new apprentice.”
Shelbi’s now eager to continue her training hopefully achieving another distinction. Following her passion for all things creative, it’s her dream to join the Saks A Team and continue to enter Saks competitions as well as the famous L’Oreal Colour Trophy.
Now our lovely Emma is a fully qualified hairdresser she wants to understand how the business works, eager to learn everything that goes on behind the scenes. Go Emma! That’s what we like to see. Plus Kayla is super busy on Thursdays and has very limited appointments so make sure you book ahead to bag your appointment with her.
Moving onto our awesome Aussie JJ. She’s settled into our salon life superbly with a calming, kind influence. JJ’s very knowledgeable in everything customers need to know and is a hoot to be around.
OUR BEST OF BEAUTY
With all of our success in hair, we’re certainly not leaving our best of beauty behind, as we welcome our talented new apprentice Grace to our beauty team.
Rachael says “Its been a first to take on hair and beauty apprentices at the same time, but having such confidence in how talented our apprentices become with Saks’ amazing training, it’s too good of an opportunity not to miss. And we know our customers will love everything they’ll bring to the salon.”
And did you know Kaya recently had a baby, so she was excited to return to the salon just in time for Christmas, and we know our customers were thrilled to see her too. A real perfectionist at brows and LVL’s, Kaya is also excellent in massage facials and tanning.
SAYING GOODBYE TO SARAH AND RACHEL
We said a sad goodbye to Rachel, our beauty manager as well as our long-standing super-talented director and member of the Saks Artistic Team, Sarah recently. But we know for sure they’ll both be big successes in everything they do and we’ll always love them – so here’s to you both.
