Saks Award Win for Our Hannah
All the team at Saks hair in Hexham are thrilled to congratulate our very own Hannah for winning a Saks Apprentice Award. Well done Hannah, we couldn’t be happier.
To win the award, Hannah needed to create a hair look inspired by upcoming trends, so our Stylist, Shannon, volunteered to be a model for Hannah’s fabulous look. After growing her pixie cut out for a few months, ready for Hannah to work her magic, she coloured Shannon’s hair bubble-gum pink, with a canary yellow fringe.
On the day of the competition, Hannah had an hour to cut & style the hair, under the watchful eye of the awards judges. She used a variety of cutting techniques including, razor cuttings, to create a punk rocker inspired mullet. Full of texture, with a super smooth peekaboo fringe.
To complete the overall look, Shannon was styled with a net dress, Doc Marten boots, pink snakeskin jacket and pink chunky earrings. Coupled with pink eyeshadow with yellow accents, big lashes and a pink lip (of course).
Judges announced that two of our hair team – Jodie and Hannah had made it to the final of the competition. The whole team were so proud of their achievement! Then Hannah was announced as the winner and we were just ecstatic.
