EMMA WINS NORTHWEST LCT23
Oh, what a night! Massive congrats to the one and only Emma Goodlass from our Saks Hair Newark salon for being named winner in the L’Oréal Colour Trophy for the Northwest Region.
This. Is. Major. LCT champions professional excellence and celebrates hair artistry. Entrants must create a well-executed, inspirational, and modern colour, complemented by a beautiful style, finish and total look taking inspiration from upcoming trends. Nailed this, Emma!

We caught up with Emma for all the backstage gossip…
So, you’re the North Western regional winner of the L’Oréal Colour Trophy, how do you feel about that?
It feels amazing, this was my first time entering – so to come away with a trophy was the best feeling ever. It was such a brilliant experience.
Talk us through your final look, what was your inspiration?
I wanted to create a look that was classic, incorporating some modern elements too. My inspiration was a modern take on the glam 70’s. I wanted to create a beautiful look which was accessible and an inspiration for people to try and recreate at home.
We’ll definitely be trying to pull off this look!
And what did you think about Luke’s ‘Limitless show’?
Luke’s show was amazing, really fascinating, it was such an inspiring show. Luke’s imagination shows that we can try different things and push our hairdressing creativity. Luke, Sarah, Clare and the team did an amazing job.
