DOUBLE SUCCESS FOR HEXHAM
We’re absolutely delighted to share that two of our brilliant salon stylists have been named finalists at this year’s British Hairdressing Business Awards 2025 – and our hairdressing team at Saks Hair in Hexham couldn’t be prouder.
A huge congratulations to Isla for being shortlisted as a finalist for Assistant of the Year and Shannon for Salon Stylist of the Year.
These prestigious awards shine a spotlight on the industry’s best hairdressers, from rising stars to inspiring professionals and outstanding salons. And this year, Isla and Shannon are flying the flag for Saks Hexham!
MEET OUR FINALISTS
Isla, our Hair Apprentice is making waves as a passionate and driven assistant. Her dedication to learning, professionalism and team spirit have truly set her apart and she’s achieving amazing things.
Shannon, our Salon Director and Manager brings consistent excellence to the salon. Shannon loves what she does and is always pushing herself to develop new skills. In 2022 she completed the exclusive A-Team training programme and has since worked backstage at high fashion shows, most recently at Graduate Fashion Week.
Shannon says: “We’re competing with the best salons around, so we must be doing something right. And that’s all down to the hard work, creativity, and dedication of the whole team. These nominations are a true team effort, and we’re so proud of what we’ve achieved together.”

The winners will be announced at a glamorous awards ceremony in London on July 7th, and rest assured we’ll be there to cheer our girls on!
