We’re thrilled to kick-start 2016 by celebrating SEVEN special longstanding salon owners signing up recently for yet more success franchising with Saks. Join us in sending congratulations to…

Jane started her Saks journey at the tender age of 16 and has built a reputation for excellence on the high street in the chic market town of Yarm, Teesside. Jane is celebrating over 20 years of Saks Yarm with a gorgeous salon makeover to say thanks to customers and her salon team, for their long-standing support.

Steve’s special as he’s been with Saks since 1974. As a key member of the original team Steve was instrumental in the success of several Saks salons – from Middlesbrough to Sunderland to Darlington, and then as a franchisee in the Huddersfield salon where he spent 9 years before returning as Middlesbrough franchisee in 1995 which he runs today, as well as Saks Tees Barrage. When asked what makes Saks special today he says: “What I love most about Saks is our fantastic training programme. My team gets to benefits from a permanent of hair training with the Saks Art Team – it’s great for staff motivation.”

Nicola Mark. Owner of Saks Beauty Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne since 2004.
Nicola’s also one of our Beauty Experts responsible for setting standards within our salon network and also providing expert comments on behalf of Saks UK. Super-passionate about skincare Nicola is a keen advocate of Saks Beauty’s clinically-proven advanced skincare offering. In 2015 Nicola opened a brand new salon solely dedicated to the world of Saks Beauty, just along the high street in Gosforth from Saks Hair.

Our boss, Stephen Kee, says: “We’re over the moon at the interest we’ve had from potential new franchisees recently. Our Saks HQ team has been working with and nurturing them and we’re getting set to open in several new locations in the coming months. We’ve also had lots of interest from existing salon owners wanting to convert to Saks as well.

Stephen continues: “It continues to be exciting times for Saks and we’ve enjoyed some great get-togethers with our Saks people in 2015. First up at our franchisee conference in Granada in March and then at our Let’s Talk About Saks event at the Hilton Metropole Birmingham in October.
