ASSISTANT MANAGER
Kirby’s all about colour and creativity. Specialising in bold balayages and long, glossy styles, she loves creating bespoke looks that bring each customer’s personality to life. No two days are ever the same and she thrives on meeting new customers and taking on fresh challenges. A proud member of the Saks family for nine years, Kirby says it’s the people that make it special - always supportive, inspiring and full of passion for what they do.
MARTIN
SENIOR STYLE DIRECTOR
Martin has been with Saks for 50 years. He started his apprenticeship in 1974 in Middlesbrough; he then went on open his own franchise in Hartlepool in 1984 and worked in the same salon until he retired in 2024. After 6 weeks of retirement, he realised how much he was missing his clients and hairdressing life, so he joined us at Saks Teesside, where he works his hair magic 3 days a week. In his spare time, he loves playing golf and enjoying good food.
MIA
STYLIST
Big curls and creating glam looks - that’s what Mia is all about. She loves making people feel beautiful, and there’s nothing better than seeing the transformation come to life in a great before-and-after. Inspired by Molly-Mae’s polished yet effortless style, Mia brings her own flair to every look. She’s all for learning new skills, keeping up with trends, and being part of the Saks family - where everyone looks out for each other. Outside the salon, you’ll find her in the gym or planning her next trip to Italy.
ABBIE
STYLIST
Abbie has been with Saks Teesside for 3 years. She really enjoys colouring and highlighting and going out of her way to make her clients feel special. Abbie is very bubbly and chatty and spends her spare time with her little boy who keeps her busy. She has a love for bottomless brunches and has one most weeks. She also loves eating, the SAKS awards and partying she’s always the last one home.
DAISY
HAIR APPRENTICE
Friendly, hard-working and all about making every customer feel at ease - that’s Daisy through and through. She loves learning new skills, perfecting her craft and ensuring every visit is a fab Saks experience. Already thriving as part of the Saks family, Daisy’s soaking up all the encouragement to be the very best version of herself. Outside the salon? You’ll find her at the gym… or happily dipping McDonald’s fries into a McFlurry (no judgement here).
