News on Saks Woman of the Year 2019 coming soon.

In our 44th year - a time unlike any other for women - we're celebrating sisterhood with our first Saks Woman of the Year. 12 fierce females; game changers who go beyond in film, literature, music, sport, TV and business and as brilliant role models too.

Our Saks Woman of the Year will be announced in October 2018. In the meantime, vote for your fave and you'll be entered into our monthly free prize draw for a chance to win £100 to spend on hair and beauty at Saks UK.

Helen Mirren

Ain't no-one like this Dame. We want what Helen's got... a stella career spanning 40 years and epitomising beauty just getting better and better. More Queen than the Queen.

Emma Watson

Actor and activist. Degree in English Lit, impeccable fashion credentials and UN Ambassador who helped launch HeForShe.

Paloma Faith

Super talented singer/songwriter who's equally applauded for her retro/eclectic style - the whole deal. The Architect is on repeat.

Lucy Fallon

A brilliant actress who's wowed us with her gutsy portrayal of Bethany Platt's exploitation and child grooming stories. We love Lucy.

Nadiya Hussain

Bake Off's 2015 winner now rocks cookery shows, kids' books, Loose Women. Named by Debrett's as one of the 500 most influential people in the UK.

JK Rowling

For overcoming adversity as a single mum to be becoming the world's first billionaire author. And then giving huge amounts to charities. JK's a modern day moral inspiration.

Nicola Adams

The first woman to win an Olympic boxing title and first openly LGBT person to win an Olympic boxing Gold. Diagnosed with ADHD - until boxing became the antidote.

Jodie Whittaker

Bravo, The Doctor is finally female! We can't wait for Jodie to head up team-tardis this autumn. First captivated us as Broadchurch's heartbroken Beth Latimer.

Lorraine Kelly

The long-time resident of the sofa sets millions up for the day. Champion of The Eve Appeal's Make Time for Tea event to mark Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.

Steph Houghton

From Saturdays in a sports shop in the Toon to captaining England's women's football team, Steph's one of the most accomplished women footballers in the world.

Amal Clooney

One of the top lawyers in the UK; Amal's super-respected in the fields of international human rights and international law. Now one of the world's most recognizable faces too.

Karren Brady

The First Lady of Football rocks several roles including vice chair at West Ham and Lord Sugar's right hand woman. A passionate advocate of championing women in business..
