We did it…AGAIN
We only went and did it again!
In our 2020 Saks Awards we won HAIR SALON OF THE YEAR award for the *second* year running!
AND our Sienna won AVANT-GARDE IMAGE award.
Katie, owner of Saks Hair Northallerton says: “We’re in our sixth year in Northallerton, we’re multi-award winning in both hair and beauty. We are a real ‘Saks family’ and we have lots of fun and social events.We genuinely enjoy spending time with our customers and each other and working in the salon, all making a great atmosphere and a brilliant place be. I was a member of the Saks ArtTeam for 15 years and have trained the whole team. Three of our stylists have been educated to degree level in colour and the team are L’Oréal Colour certified and educated to the highest level in all L’Oréal techniques. Each year we develop a team member creatively through the year-long A-Team programme, run by Saks ArtTeam. It takes the team to another level; promoting individual creativity and giving them a really positive experience.” “I am absolutely delighted to have won Hair Salon of theYear, it really means a lot.”

These awards are all about celebrating our brilliant creatives with entrants having to submit a photograph of their best work to Saks Creative Director, Luke Pluckrose for judging. Luke leads the Saks Art Team who train all of our stylists to the highest level to ensure they are experts in all-things hair. They’re also here, there and everywhere styling at shoots, shows and red-carpet events.With Luke recently being called on to style the tresses of Kim Kardashian and Kendal Jenner don’t cha know. And of course they set the standard at Saks, training all of our stylists to the highest level to ensure they are experts in all-things hair.
Stylists were challenged to explore and showcase their creative vision for fantastic avant-garde hairdressing – with no limits!
Sienna: Something unique about you?
I descend from royalty! No joke -my grandparents were crowned King and Queen of Piel Island (just off the coast of Barrow-in-Furness) back in 1974. Time Travel.Where, when, what. I think I belong in the late 60s /early 70s if I’m honest.The fashion, the music, the icons, you just don’t get that anymore.
