WE WON A HATTRICK
Ok, so the team at our Saks hair salon in Knutsford are just a little excited to share our success *eeek*. We’ve only gone and won not one, not two, but *three* awards at the 2023 Salon Awards. Oh – and did we mention we couldn’t be happier!?
Massive congratulations go to executive stylist & L’Oréal colour specialist, Estelle, for winning Best Bridal Stylist 2023, executive stylist & colour specialist, Roula, for winning Best Creative Image 2023 and to ALL of our talented hair team for winning Best Salon Team 2023.
OUR WINNING LOOKS
To enter, Roula submitted her final look with a statement on why she thought she could win including background on her stylist career. She loves Viking and rock so with that in mind she got creative and produced her final look. And Estelle submitted a number of pictures, also accompanied by a statement on why she thought she could win and background on her career.
And for the team entry, Paula showed examples of messages of encouragement from team members, as well as customer testimonials on our team and how we work in the salon. Paula also added how well the team pulled together when she had to take time away from the salon.

PAULA’S THOUGHTS
Paula says “Originally I was just going to enter us for the salon team award, but when I saw the other categories, they were perfect for Roula and Estelle. Roula used a themed image from a photoshoot she created at The Hub at Saks HQ. And Estelle loves wedding hair, so she was a perfect fit for her category.
“At the awards ceremony, we were met with a great atmosphere as we enjoyed mingling with lots of talented stylists from the north.
“When we saw the huge number of finalists, we thought we weren’t going to win, so every time the presenters announced ‘Saks Knutsford’ our jaws dropped, then we all just screamed with excitement when we were announced as the winner each time. It really was a great night, but unfortunately both myself and Roula were in work the next day so we didn’t party afterwards”.
