Hairdressers’ COLOUR goals here! Since 1954, the L’Oréal Colour Trophy has been a beacon for talent within the UK’s hairdressing industry. And since we started out back in ’74, entering, getting through and winning have been our colour-obsessed stylists’ focus and ultimate dream.
In 2026, the competition celebrates an incredible 70 years of British hairdressing excellence. This is more than an anniversary, it’s a celebration of seven decades of creativity, innovation and artistry. With the return of the Regional Semi-Finals across eight UK cities, the Platinum Era is set to showcase some of the very best talent in the industry. And we SO got the brief with *five* Saks finalists through to this year’s regionals…

Dates are set, with the Regional Semi-Finals taking place across April as part of the return of the L’Oréal Colour Trophy tour, before the Grand Final lands on 6 July… where our Creative Director, Luke Pluckrose will form part of an elite creative team bringing the 70th anniversary show to life at the iconic O2 Arena in London, helping deliver what promises to be an unforgettable, not-to-be-missed celebration of hair and artistry.
