Saks Newark salon is one year in!
And just like that we’ve whizzed past our first birthday already. When we first opened our Newark salon doors in July 2020 – as soon as we could post-lockdown – we had no idea what a whirlwind of a ride it would be.
Our salon owner Zoe and our Newark faces are soooo proud to be providing you with the very best of Saks hair at our gorgeous salon at 20 & 22 Castlegate. Where it’s kinda home from home for us and for our customers now – just how we like it.

RAISING FUNDS FOR GYNAE CANCERS
We’ve also started to raise funds and awareness for Saks’ national charity partner The Eve Appeal with a Make Time For Tea event. There were cuppas, nibbles, fizz and goodies galore – around all of the gorgeous hair. Saks4Eve has raised over £185,000 for gynae cancers… and thanks to you we’ve now added £450 to the pot.
IN MEMORY OF ELAINE
We’re 100% Saks4Eve in memory of Zoe’s dear friend Elaine Atkinson who tragically lost her life. Elaine said two things to Zoe… you keep smiling and please raise a *shitload* of funds for Eve. Elaine we’ve got this. Big plans in the pipeline. Watch this space.

“More of everything. 100% nurturing our team so we can keep happy and totally inspired to provide beautiful hair. Having worked closely with the Saks Artists over the years I love nothing more than arranging for them to come to the salon to put on a creative, bang-in-the-moment training session – it’s what we’re all about. And we’ll be entering those industry competitions – I love to do get the team involved and give them the excitement and recognition they deserve.”
