Saks hair in Northallerton has not let lockdowns stop our fab faces from entering to win this year’s national Saks Awards. You just can’t keep a good salon team down, Covid or not! Our annual awards are legendary don’t you know, so naturally we just had to enter.

And we’re absolutely thrilled that our salon made it through to the finals for hair salon of the year.

Receiving such great news definitely gave us a lift during lockdown, and we’re so looking forward to chatting to our lovely customers about our success when we re-open. Hopefully that’ll be on 12^th April if all goes to plan.

Salon owner, Katy says “We are all over the moon to reach the finals again. We must be doing something right… yey! We have the most amazing team and I can’t thank them enough. Maybe a big party (when we can socialise again) would express our gratitude. The team worked so so hard all year (between lockdowns). Everyone really stepped up to the mark, adapting to this strange masked world”.

She continues “Number one priority for all the team was ensuring the client journey from entering the salon to leaving was a great Saks experience, following our strict Covid safety protocol religiously. Lastly, we’d like to thank our amazing loyal customers who trusted us to keep them safe throughout this difficult year, and of course make them look and feel great!”

We can’t wait to celebrate – Saks style

We’ll have a ‘Big Party’ at some point of course to celebrate but we just don’t know when due to current restrictions. So 2021 winners, all across the UK, will be announced in a big virtual bash later this year, and we can’t wait – LBD at the ready!
