Saks Gathering & Awards 2023
OK so Saks Gathering & Awards went next-level this year – how can that be – we always have the best of times in the best of settings. All change after our Saks-festival in 2022, this time we rocked up at Wynyard Hall for an Enchanted Garden Party. We’re talking about an uber snazzy country house here. Think Downtown Abbey. Yup that’ll be US.
Dress code was cocktails… and glam obvs. With an explosion of neons, hot florals, puffballs, tea dresses and slinky maxis; individuality reigned supreme. Hemlines veered from floor skimming to sky high (and ditto that for heels too). Hair and glam… everything everything. The absolute pleasure of summertime day to night dressing for Our Lot.
As the sun beat down (on broad spectrum SPF 50 aplenty) we kicked off with a big Saks BBQ and teatime drinkies on the terrace. Back Chat Brass (New Orleans inspired brass band) provided a funky take on all the hits and we got loads of selfies in giant deckchairs and hanging with the wandering flower people and hedge men. Enchanted Garden indeed. And. All. The. Catchups!
Into early evening and it was time for our awards ceremony to celebrate the Saks faces and salons named winners for 2023 and hear about extremely exciting things incoming at Saks.
