Saks Art Team rocks at LFW SS14

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Wow! Our superstar Art Team had a thrilling time backstage at LFW S/S 2014. First of our highlights is our LFW fave, Bernard Chandran at Freemasons’ Hall.

And as usual the show was a visual delight. Asymmetric layering, puffs and capes in a myriad of sumptuous jewel-toned fabrics were perfectly matched to our loose, casual, very low ponytail hair designs.

Alison Dace, Creative Director at Saks, says: “I’m SO loving all the prints and muted colours. I was inspired by how to experiment with these pallets. A great opportunity to let my imagination run riot.”

And we LOVED that the Art Team was called upon for Karen K at the Natural History Museum too.

In a flurry of feathers, leather and lace, model-come-designer Karen El-Khazen’s collection of heart-stopping shoe designs adorned the feet of stunning, strutting models… with stunning hair by us, of course.

Beautiful, statement styles. These are not for the feint of heart!

Luke Pluckrose from Saks Art Team says: “Clean, minimal and chic, with a leather-clad ponytail – hair heaven!”

With performances from the Holloways, the return of Sonique and lots of special guests in attendance, Karen K shoes rocked the room!
