Nikki’s 80s reboot got us through!

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Huge congrats to our owner Nikki Hughes for getting through to the semi finals of the L’Oreal Colour Trophy 2020 and yet again putting our Chester salon on the map for hair creativity and colour excellence.

80S STYLE

A whole loada 80s influence right here. Nikki says “The colour look was created by using the balayage technique – that’s hand painting the hair – combined with babylight blondes to keep it natural and cool. I wanted to emulate the ’80s reborn’ trends that are popular this year.”

A CREATIVE JOURNEY

A very proud Saks owner since 2006 – 14 years at time of print – of her creative journey, Nikki says: “Great to say say I’ve made it through to the L’Oreal Colour Trophy and Men’s Image regional finalist several times now. I’ve also worked backstage supporting our Saks Artists at the BAFTA Awards and at The Clothes Show, London Fashion Week and at the Prima Fashion Awards. Pushing our creative boundaries is essential. It allows us to remain focused and bring new things back to the salon for our customers. And it’s always great for motivating our team and getting them involved too.”
