Introducing Saks A-Team 2019

Meet 2019’s hottest line up…Saks A-Team 2019. Each of the Saks stylists that have joined the coveted, year long education programme put on by Saks Art Team.

Saks A-Team 2019 provides a place for our artistic hair stylists to get creative outside of the salon with our other stylists from across the UK.

This years talented lot are:

Leonie Winer – Saks Guisborough
Lucy Coles – Saks Lincoln
Sienna Coyle – Saks Hair Northallerton

Charlotte Lewington – Saks Yarm
Sean Turnbull – Saks Yarm
Ashleigh Mortimer – Saks York.

Bagging a place on Saks A-Team programme takes hard work and dedication. Applicants interview for a place, do a timed hair demonstration as well as presenting mood boards on a theme. This lot made it and we’re SO PROUD.​​​​​​​

The group kick-started things with their first session ‘Styling through the decades’ at Saks Academy Darlington with Sarah Clarke-Lees of Saks Art Team.

Sarah says: “This years A-Team programme has kicked off with a session exploring the trend setters from years gone by to current fashionistas. The team will learn creative cutting, styling, colouring and wig techniques, finishing their year with a photo shoot showcasing their new skills. It’s an exciting chance for them to step out of their comfort zones and take the creative session world back to their salons.”

Previous A-Teams have assisted backstage at London Fashion Week, the Brits, Mobo’s, Graduate Fashion Week and more.
