Ellie’s Hairdressing Success
Is that a distinction we hear you say? Oh yes! We’re thrilled to congratulate our stylist, Ellie, for completing her level 2 hairdressing course (with a distinction no less). Go Ellie!
Our team at Saks hair in Hertford were so pleased when they found out about Ellie’s achievement. Not that we’d expect anything else of course.
Ellie’s now on her way to completing level 3, and we’re confident she’ll smash this one too. She’s had an amazing experience throughout her training, and says “The exam really pulled me out of my comfort zone, which was scary but exciting at the same time. I’m really happy I did it”.
WHY ELLIE LOVES LEARNING
“I like that all my training is done in the salon instead of going to a training centre or college. I prefer it because it’s more one and one with me and the trainer, which means I get a lot done in my training sessions. When working in a salon full time, it means I get to learn the reality of what stylists do on a day to day basis” says Ellie. “I’m always watching what happens on the salon floor, so I feel like I’m always learning new techniques in styling.”
Success all round, we’d say. And best of all, we get to have Ellie in the salon every day too, which is great for our team and customers.
She continues “I was very nervous on the day of my final exam, because being a hairdresser is very important to me. I made sure I was very focused on the day, as the months leading up to my exam were crazy busy. I was constantly going over all the things I needed to do so that on the day I was prepared and could just get on with what I do best”.
