ASHLEY
SALON OWNER & DIRECTOR
Ashley is our main man and salon owner, with 42 years in the industry and 38 at the helm of Saks York. He’s known for detailed consultations and truly understanding what each client needs. A specialist in short hair and razor cutting, Ashley loves precision work and creating styles that feel effortless and modern. “I’m really proud of my team. We have a great bond,” he says. Outside the salon, you’ll find him in the mountains hiking, running or cycling and sometimes even sleeping under canvas at the top with his best friend, Wilson the dog.
ROBYN
PRINCIPAL STYLIST & COLOUR SPECIALIST
Robyn has been part of the salon since 2013 and is a L’Oréal Colour Expert, having completed her Colour Specialist Degree. She thrives on creativity, especially when it comes to blonding and dimensional colour, and loves the science behind achieving the perfect tone. Making clients feel fabulous is what drives her. When she's not in the salon, she loves planning holidays, going to her local pub quiz and spending time with her friends & family.
DARCEY
STYLIST
Darcey has a real eye for detail and a passion for all things colour. She loves making people feel glamorous and confident, and brings creativity and polish to every appointment. Always up for getting dressed up and heading out to a great restaurant, Darcey brings that same sense of style and occasion into the salon every day.
JESS
STYLIST
Jess is a highly creative stylist with a particular love for cutting sharp, beautiful bobs. She enjoys exploring new techniques and bringing fresh ideas to her work. When she’s not in the salon, Jess loves a cosy night in with her dog Pippa, and spending time with friends and family at the weekend.
EMMA
STYLIST
Emma loves all things hair and is our go-to hair-up girl. Whether it’s a big event or a special occasion, she’s guaranteed to create something gorgeous and put a smile on your face with her bubbly personality. Outside the salon, Emma loves going on holiday and exploring new places whenever she can.
EMMY
HAIR APPRENTICE
Emmy is our talented apprentice, developing her skills and excited about everything salon life brings. She particularly loves cutting and is growing in confidence with every training session. Outside of work, Emmy enjoys spending time with friends and taking her dog on long walks.
SCARLETT
HAIR APPRENTICE
Scarlett has recently started her training and is excited to build her skills, especially in colour. She brings great energy to the salon and is eager to learn from the team. In her spare time, Scarlett loves doing make-up and spending her weekends shopping with friends.
