Saks4Eve Fancy Pants
When our fab Saks Bishop Auckland team announced they fancied holding a BIG Saks4Eve fancy pants parade to raise funds for The Eve Appeal, customers, friends and family were extremely happy to sponsor such a good cause.
Assistant Manager Melissa Kelly asked the team to get creative by designing their own #Saks4Eve pants with the best design winning a bottle of vino. We think you’ll agree… this crazy lot are artists in the making!
Salon owner Pauline O’Connor Smith says: “When I asked my team to get on-board with fighting women’s cancers with The Eve Appeal I knew they’d want to get involved but their response is amazing! My team is loving coming up with great fundraising ideas and we’re having a great time for a worthwhile cause.
“We’re spreading the word seriously too of course; giving out awareness leaflets about each of the five gynaecological cancers and chatting to our customers as well. Even just talking about women’s cancers, symptoms and encouraging someone to get checked out can make all the difference.”
It has to be said… CHEEKY!
Huge thanks to local bakery Longstaffs for donating scrummy biscuits for the day-long event. Our team also bobbed out to raise yet more funds collecting from other local businesses whilst giving passers by a big-pants eyeful!
Massive well done to our Saks Hair & Beauty Bishop Auckland team… for raising a whopping £260 from this one-day event alone!
