Saks fundraising updates
We just love how our Saks salon teams are embracing raising funds to fight gynaecological cancers with The Eve Appeal, with £9,741.25 raised in the blink of an eye. Here’s a quick roundup of some of the a-mazing things that have been going on in Saks salons right across the UK in the last couple of months alone…
WE CYCLED FOR FIVE HOURS AND DID THE HOLE OF HORCUM TREK
Saks York set up a tent in the city centre to raise awareness, paint faces and sell cakes whilst team member Beth did a 5 Hour Cycle Challenge! Meanwhile back at the salon we were busy-busy providing cuts and blow dries for only £20! Plus there were makeup makeovers, a lucky dip and a raffle.
This dedicated team also did the Hole of Horcum Trek, walking 10.5k over the Yorkshire Moors. Team York is currently the one to beat having raised over £1,389. So far.

WE CELEBRATED TWO BIG BIRTHDAYS…
Aww, our salons love nothing more than celebrating their big birthdays… any excuse for a bit of partying with our customers and the perfect opportunity to raise funds and awareness for The Eve Appeal.
Saks Northallerton celebrating their first birthday with a raffle of gorgeous hair and beauty goodies and a balloon popping extravaganza… with a prize in EVERY balloon!

Our lovelies at Saks Hull had a WEEK-LONG celebration of their sweet 16th raising a whopping £550! Pic shows some of the team enjoying a well-deserved glass of fizz on Saturday after one crazy-busy week.

WE SMASHED IT IN THE LEEDS HALF MARATHON…
Our Saks Doncaster team did us proud as they turned out to run 13 miles in the Leeds Half Marathon. We’re loving the customised t-shirts, gang!

WE HAD A GIRLS NIGHT IN…
Margaret Watson and our team at Saks Whitley Bay are totally into fundraising and had a great time holding a Girls Night In party with customers enjoying nibbles, prosecco, hair demos and a ‘foil challenge’. Our team gave a demo with a competition to see which customer could do the best foil. We love sharing our expertise!

AND WE KEPT ON HOLDING TEA PARTIES AND TRIMMING FRINGES…
Saks Ashton, Saks HQ, Saks Kings Hill, Saks Lincoln and Saks Middlesbrough sold plenty of gorgeous #SAKS4EVE pin badges , Saks Great Yarmouth held a big old tea party and Saks South Shields fringe trims donations went down a treat.
