Charlotte at Saks Hair Exeter
We just love this story about our stylist Charlotte Tutchings at Saks Hair Exeter which is a great example of what makes our people special.
One of our customers rang the salon explaining she would be recovering from a debilitating illness in hospital for a prolonged period and asked if we could recommend a mobile hairdresser.
Stylist Charlotte immediately volunteered to arrange the appointment, thinking it would be a nice gesture and even offering to do it on her day off, for free!

Salon owners Tom and Ellie were amazed. Charlotte’s a lovely person and an excellent stylist in demand at Saks Hair Exeter, but they were also blown away by her genuine compassion.
Tom attended the hospital appointment with Charlotte who really did Saks proud. Unexpectedly, one of our customers was the nurse on-hand at the time and she was amazed that Charlotte had taken the time out to do this.
Charlotte has been with us for three years, having joined as an apprentice who was quickly promoted to Head Junior. Charlotte qualified last year and has already built a long list of returning customers. Recently promoted to Senior Colour Technician, Charlotte’s also the winner of the national Saks “Young One” Award.
When news of this reached Stephen Kee’s ears, our MD was thrilled to learn of Charlotte’s good deed and immediately arranged for a bottle of fizz to be delivered as a thank you from Saks HQ.
