NEW SALON IN ADDLESTONE
New year, new salon alert! We’re thrilled to shout loud and proud about our super-swish salon in Addlestone, having opened at 92b Station Road, in the centre of town this January.
Andrew, John and Jane are the people at the top, with Andrew taking over the ownership ropes (or should that be scissors?) from dad, John, who used to run our previous salon, Christie’s – a longstanding, popular Addlestone salon. Just like Saks, Christie’s had a rich heritage and we’re so excited to take our loyal, as well as new customers, on the next stage of our adventure. And not forgetting mum, Jane, of course, who’s doing what she does best – running front of house, whilst mingling with all our lovely customers and making everyone feel oh-so-special.
SO WHAT ABOUT THE MAN AT THE TOP? LET’S FIND OUT WHAT HE’S ALL ABOUT…
What better way to find out just what makes our special salon tick, than grabbing the low-down from our very own Andrew. Here’s what he had to say:
Name your favourite hair appointment?
Hmm, anything colour-related. I can quite happily do tints, highlights and balayage all day. I love experimenting with formulas to create customised results, and also enjoy the process of a colour correction.
Grab a quick half an hour of me-time – what do you do?
OK – usually in a pub after a good day in the salon. Where I’m currently typing my responses actually!
All-time hair icon and why?
Debbie Harry’s late 70s peroxide bob. The Rachel. Meghan Markle. I could go on.

What makes a fantastic stylist? Fantastic training of course. That’s why our team’s had loads of top training before opening our doors, including an in-salon hair session with our creative director, Luke Pluckrose, and Sarah Clarke-Lees, from the renowned Saks Art Team.
Andrew says “We loved getting all the Saks hair knowledge. We’ve immersed ourselves in our new Saks brand with team presentations and we all passed the brand induction with flying colours!”
