Ashleigh Poulsen : NVQ beauty educator
Originally from South Africa, Ashleigh started her beauty career working for several years at a prestigious health and detox hydro, where she gained experience in various training programmes and carried out treatments for a number of A-list celebrities and international clients. Here she experienced her career highlight by carrying out specialised treatments for Nelson Mandela. She then moved to London and into a management position overseeing the opening of two day spas, including the general running of staff and spa management.
Ashleigh soon realised her passion lay within teaching and gained her teaching and assessing qualifications. She taught at a couple of Further Education colleges until she discovered Saks, and hasn’t looked back. She is now responsible for teaching, tutoring and assessing students on Level 2 & 3 day and evening beauty beginners courses.
