We are thrilled to announce that we have another salon and franchisee to welcome to our ever increasing family, Saks Exeter opened for business on Saturday 11th February 2012. 

The team at Exeter has a wealth of experience, is creative, passionate, highly motivated and is looking forward to bringing the Saks experience to Exeter, so join us in wishing the gang a huge amount of good luck for the future!

The salon had a luxurious feel and has been kitted out with a bespoke spiral staircase and 5ft double height chandelier - impressive surroundings which make for a very special customer experience. And best of all, the local community are buzzing with excitement!

Claire Denyer, our fabulous franchisee, appeared in The Salon Magazine recently in a dedicated feature about her inspirational journey towards owning and developing the award-winning Saks Hair & Beauty salon at Kings Hill. 

Claire enthused about the superior level of support she has continued to receive from Saks HQ over the past five years, which enables her to run her hugely successful business, including human resources advice, training schemes and mystery shopper opportunities. Claire also explained how the super-special Saks branding has a big impact on her local marketing strategies and enables her to gain a greater understanding of her clientele.  With a fantastic team in place, Claire and Saks continue to go from strength to strength!

Strictly Ola Jordan's hair secrets

Claire Denyer, owner of Saks Kings Hill has the pleasure of caring for Ola’s hair when she is not taking to the floor for the Strictly season. Claire shares her tips, tricks and techniques for the creation of Ola’s gorgeous locks and how Saks keeps them ready for the glamour under the Strictly spotlights. 

Ola is a beautiful blonde who suits her signature look with soft, multi-tonal blonde shades and a face-framing style that moves with her as she sweeps across the floor.  Claire advises “I work Ola’s highlights in a windmill section pattern and only take fine sections of hair to keep the colour looking fresh and natural.  We scatter pieces of toffee/caramel blonde throughout her hair to create softness and these toffee tones really bring out Ola's eye colouring.”

With her partner Robbie Savage and her fancy footwork we are cheering Ola on to reclaim her Strictly title and we know her hair will score a perfect ten!
