Lindsey Yusuff
Lindsey Yusuff has two Saks salons in Great Yarmouth and Norwich.
When she came to Saks in 1995 Lindsey had a successful, independent salon in Great Yarmouth but was keen to become part of a group to benefit from the brand awareness and support that only a franchise can offer.
"I met with the MD of Saks, Stephen Kee, who had spotted us at the L'Oreal Colour Trophy finals. He explained that Saks was looking to further expand in the South. At the time my independent salon was a support salon for another franchise group but the exceptional customer service for which Saks is renowned, plus the friendly, family-feel environment at Saks were a big pull for me and we chose to join Saks."
"I'd been running the independent salon for 15 years but where we were based, in Great Yarmouth, was quite insular and we needed the back up of a large company to be able to move forward.
There is a lot that's great about Saks but in particular I love the open lines of communication we have with head office, the regional business development managers and with other franchisees. We all support each other and share ideas.
I've since opened another salon in Norwich, in partnership with a member of staff at the Great Yarmouth salon who showed great promise, both creatively and as a business partner.
Since joining Saks we've won nearly every accolade at the Saks National Awards, and particularly excel in the creative awards for our photographic work. We've been finalists in the L'Oreal Colour Trophy several times, have Saks Art Team and A Team members on our teams, and have a reputation within the group for being outstanding for our creative work.
