Mark Woolley
Leading Stylist and Franchisee, Saks Brighton, Saks Brighton Marina and Saks Reading, Mark worked his way to the top becoming one of Saks' leading stylists. Joining Saks as a 16 year-old trainee at the Darlington salon he became a stylist within 18 months. Mark has won many awards including 'Trainee of the Year', 'Stylist of the Year', 'Achiever of the Year' and 'Salon of the Year'. Mark has also won British Hairdressing Business Awards and has been a finalist at the prestigious British Hairdressing Awards.
He became manager of the Darlington salon, opened Saks Scotch Corner and has since opened further salons in Brighton Marina (a winner of 'Day Spa of the Year') and on the high street in Brighton.
Mark's own Saks experience is something he wants to help others to achieve:
"I want to help up and coming people develop within the group and ultimately own their own Saks salons. I still love the days I work in the salon and regularly take part in photo shoots which helps keep me passionate about hair, which at the end of the day, is what helped me to get to where I am today."
