Reading Time: 4 minutes

How to put into words how we feel about our people and our customers raising over £100,000 for The Eve Appeal. Saks people have baked, blow-dried, massaged, nail-painted, pants paraded, ran, raffled, sky-dived, spray-tanned, walked, waxed and zip-wired our fundraising waaaay past £100,000 already. All that and much MORE – with amazing support from our customers, big brand suppliers, friends and family.

SPECIAL WORDS FROM ATHENA, CEO of The Eve Appeal:

“The team at Saks aced it! The £100k target smashed in glittery, glamorous Saks style. The Eve Appeal team is thrilled and in awe! We are lucky to have such an amazing partner with all the salons committed to go above and beyond talking to women, making some noise and raising funds and awareness about the signs and symptoms of the 5 Gynae Cancers.

“I would like to say on behalf of the whole of Team Eve, staff, volunteers, patients and researchers a HUGE thank you, your dedication has been an inspiration to all of us. Thank you again and cannot wait to see what Saks does next!”

Our Managing Director Stephen Kee says: “We chose Eve because they’re all about women – which is at the heart of the Saks brand. Our special partnership takes our desire to look after women to another level. And Saks people have all embraced raising funds and awareness with great gusto. When a hair stylist or beauty therapist chats to a Saks customer about the importance of seeing a doctor to get checked out it makes us all incredibly proud. Our message to Eve, having achieved our original goal? #Saks4Eve business as usual. Fundraising and raising awareness continues apace!”

Janet King, Head of Marketing at Saks, says to Athena and Stephen: “Watch this space!”

Know Kiera, know she love being part of the Saks Fam. This creative stylist is a member of this year’s Saks A-Team creative programme – spending time being mentored in avant-garde hair with our Art Team and representing Saks backstage at glitzy events such as London Fashion Week.

And now she’s also hurtled out of a plane at 10,000 feet in a tandem skydive in the name of #Saks4Eve. Bravo, our girl!
