The Clothes Show 2016
Saks Art Team has been Official Hair Partner at The Clothes Show for the FOURTH year running. This time was a bit special as six members of Saks Art Team landed to create head-turning hair for celebs, models and dancers at Fashion Theatre’s Rock the Runway shows.
As usual, our Creative Director Luke Pluckrose got together with The Clothes Show beforehand to interpret hair looks to complement stunning clothing by celeb-stylist Karl Willett. We’re great mates with Karl as he’s also styled our beautiful hair and beauty brand campaign for 2017… more on all that soon!

Luke says: “We strengthened Saks Art Team last year for exactly this reason. When Saks UK is asked to style hair at a huge event – such as The Clothes Show – we take it seriously and we’re so ready for it!
Luke continues: “We love giving our creative stylists the chance to assist us backstage. As usual, they all excelled themselves and had a brilliant time session-styling.”

This year’s ‘Rock the Runway’ shows brought together fashion, music and dance with over 40 international models and dancers. We complemented hot fashions with big bouncy Victoria’s Secret waves for models and sleek high ponies and skull plaits for dancers.

We tended the tresses of models and dancers 24/7. Celeb styling included presenters Laura Whitmore, Laura Jackson, Antonia O’Brien plus singer Charlotte OC, X-Factor’s 4 of Diamonds (best #MannequinChallenge everr), Sophie Gradon, Ferne MacCann and more. We also tjuzed Jamie Laing and Mark Wright who both had time for a catch-up.
