Fast Track Beauty NVQ Level 2 For Beginners
The Saks Academies Fast Track Beauty NVQ Level 2 Course for Beginners has been specifically designed for those who want to qualify as a beauty therapist – fast.
Train full-time with the Fast Track Beauty NVQ Level 2 Course for Beginners and you can qualify as a beauty therapist in just 10 weeks. If you’re not quite ready to give up the day job, you can enrol on our weekly evening class and qualify in just 25 weeks.
Designed for complete beginners, the course covers all aspects of beauty therapy and is the fast track route to obtaining the nationally recognised NVQ Level 2 in beauty therapy. Successful students also receive the renowned Saks Academies Diploma.
The NVQ course content includes:
- Facial treatments, covering all aspects of skin analysis and face, neck and shoulder massage
- Nail treatments for the feet and hands
- Hair removal using waxing techniques
- Eye treatments, including eyebrow and eyelash tinting, removal and perming
- Customer care, health and safety and reception duties
The course modules are taught by dedicated NVQ educators and include theory work, written tests, project work, demonstrations and workshops. You receive personal guidance and monitoring throughout the course to ensure you are achieving the learning goals required. And, you are provided with all the necessary equipment for the course including Saks Academies beauty therapy kit and step by step workbooks. There is also an interactive website to help with your studies.
Students must reach the minimum standards required to qualify. On successful completion of the course, you will obtain NVQ Level 2 in beauty therapy and the Saks Diploma.
Places are limited and entrance is by interview only.
Previous beauty therapy experience is not required.
Part-time 13 weeks, Saturdays only,10am to 5pm (home study is required)
Full-time 10 weeks, Monday to Thursday, 10am to 5pm, not including Bank Holidays (with one home study day - Friday)
Evening 25 weeks, one evening a week (home study is required)
